Let Them Eat Cake – AM 

Do you love to bake your cake and eat it, too? This five-day camp will cover basics such as how to properly prepare cake pans, the perfect cake recipe and carving multiple layers. This course will then transition into a more advanced cake decorating lesson. From crumb coats to fondant, your junior chef will create their very own delicious cake creations. This camp will end with a fun “Nailed It” style challenge!

Presidential Palate– PM

To land the job of “First Chef” you definitely need culinary chops. And while haute cuisine may be a job requirement, the White House chef takes orders, literally, from the prez. From creating ethnic menus to impressing heads of state to whipping up White House kids’ favorites, First Chefs must be quick on their toes. So if learning to cook like a Presidential Chef is on your list, this camp is for you! Class will make items like, Nancy Reagan’s Monkey Bread, Clinton’s Chicken Enchiladas, Thomas Jefferson’s Chevre Soufflé, Michelle Obama’s Cauliflower Mac and Cheese, and many more recipes from the White House Archives!
